A very good jasmine tea requires a lot of work: a top green tea, with limited bitterness, and quality jasmine flowers. The best jasmine flowers grow in the south-eastern Chinese provinces.

Interestingly, jasmine flowers are also grown in the southern France, in the Grasse area, which is known for its perfume production. Jasmine flowers also grow easily in Brittany. Top quality jasmine flowers from south-eastern China are used for Tonnerre de Brest.
